June 22: Sandspit!  Forms and money now being collected up until Friday, June 16.

7B/7H French — Presentations of Passion Projects begin Monday, June 12.  Please remember that class time will be given for research only. You must prepare your visual (slideshow, video, poster, etc) at home. Also please begin writing your presentation script sooner rather than later to ensure you have enough information.  The outline for the project is attached.    PassionProject

7F Social Studies — Students should work on their year end group project over the weekend. Class time will be given however work at home is necessary to ensure the work is completed on time! Projects are due Thursday, June 15.  For the final project, students are working in groups of 3 to create a board game, a comic strip or a children’s story that compares the civilizations discussed this year.  Please have project material for next class.

Friday Theme Day!!  Summer, Floral, Tropical DayFriday, May 19th – $1.00 to participate.  All proceeds towards semi decorations.

7B/7H French — Students are wrapping up the spring reading unit. Everyone should be finished reading the short stories by the end of tomorrow’s class.  Students are asked to hand in all their reading response sheets. A reading evaluation/test take place in class Tuesday, May 23.

 

7H Health — Reminder that permission forms for our sexual health unit are to be returned by tomorrow: Friday, May 19.  We require each student to submit a signed permission form in order to participate.

7H HOMEROOM –  Reminder that we are attending a concert performance by Izabelle tomorrow at École François Buote tomorrow morning. Students will be leaving EWS at 9:55 for the 10:30 performance. We will be stopping at Wendy’s/Tim Horton’s after the performance for lunch.  We will be back to EWS for afternoon classes.

YEARBOOK – We have 30 copies left as of this morning. Friday is the deadline for ordering extra copies if we need them.  Please get your orders in before Friday.

HOMEROOM CHALLENGE!    COMPASSION IT is challenging all homeroom classes to bring in any spare change they may have to help support the PEI Humane Society.  The challenge ends on Friday, April 21st.  The homeroom that raises the most money will win a double lunch!

 

7H HOMEROOM –  We received confirmation today that all grade 7 Immersion students will be attending a concert at École François Buote next Tuesday, March 25. The cost is $3 and an information letter will be sent home with students in the coming days.
